Job Summary
MantraCare is seeking a Legal Counselor (India) to provide legal guidance and support across corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with Indian laws while supporting business operations in the healthcare and wellness sector.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on Indian corporate, employment, and contract law
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and legal documents
Ensure compliance with Indian regulatory requirements, including labour and data protection laws
Support HR and management on workplace policies and legal matters
Identify legal risks and advise on mitigation strategies
Coordinate with external counsel and support dispute resolution
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
Enrolled with the Bar Council of India
6+ years of relevant legal experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Indian laws and regulatory frameworks
