We are seeking an innovative
UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. This full-time position involves using design thinking to shape the user experience, create user-friendly interfaces, and drive innovation in our product design.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical skills, a strong understanding of design thinking principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Designing user-friendly and engaging interfaces.
- Creating detailed user flows to capture the complete user journey.
- Developing best-practice-driven interaction patterns.
- Applying design thinking principles to validate designs with users and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with Frontend Developers for the implementation of designs.
- Keeping abreast of the latest UI/UX trends and competitor design strategies.
- Participating actively in design reviews and iterations.
- Incorporating feedback to improve and refine design elements.
- Ensuring consistency in UI elements and style guides across all platforms.
- Assisting in usability testing and analyzing user feedback for design improvements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in UI/UX design tools including Sketch, Figma, InVision, Adobe XD, and Zeplin, as well as prototyping tools such as Marvel or Protopie.
- Solid understanding of wireframing, storyboarding, and user flow creation.
- Strong knowledge of design systems and UI libraries like Material UI.
- Experience with user testing, research, and design validation methodologies.
- Ability to apply design thinking to create adaptable user interfaces for various platforms (web, iOS, Android).
- Deep understanding of design thinking principles and their applications.
- Knowledge of accessibility principles to ensure designs are universally usable.
- Understanding of API design principles and the implications of HTML/CSS/JS on design implementation.
- Experience in user-centered design practices and methodologies.
- Experience working within Agile setups and collaborating closely with developers and product managers.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven application of design thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and creativity.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- A continuous learner, eager to stay updated with design trends.
- Degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
