Senior Lead position in Messaging & Streaming

Software Engineering Expertise:

Possess formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 8+ years of applied experience.

Messaging Systems Expertise:

Expertise in messaging systems such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.

Kafka Platform Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of Kafka concepts, managed Kafka, topic migration, multi-cloud cluster connectivity, replication, and platform-level intricacies.

Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning:

Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

AWS Messaging Platforms:

Proficiency in AWS messaging platforms like Amazon MSK, Amazon MQ, Amazon SQS, etc.

Programming Proficiency:

Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, etc.

Microservice Architecture:

Good understanding and knowledge of microservice architecture and implementation.

System Design and Development:

Hands-on experience in delivering messaging systems design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.

Independent Problem Solving:

Ability to independently tackle design and functionality problems with minimal oversight, working effectively with large cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.

Extensive hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.

Deep understanding and practical experience with Kafka concepts and managed Kafka services.

Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Strong proficiency in AWS messaging platforms (Amazon MSK, Amazon MQ, Amazon SQS, etc.).

Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, etc.).

Experience with microservice architecture and implementation.

Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy messaging systems, ensuring operational stability.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced certifications related to Kafka or AWS messaging services.

Previous experience in a senior leadership role focused on messaging and streaming systems.

Experience with multi-cloud environments and connectivity strategies.
