Job Description:

We seek a skilled Qualitative Research Sr Lead / Manager to anchor qualitative projects, moderate interviews, and transform conversations into actionable insights. You will manage a team, drive business from CPG and non-CPG clients, and ensure seamless project delivery while occasionally supporting assignments in new geographies.

Key Responsibilities

1.Project Management

  • Lead and manage qualitative research studies from brief to delivery.
  • Develop research proposals, discussion guides, and analysis approach.
  • Ensure project quality, timelines, and budgets are maintained.

2.Moderation & Fieldwork

  • Conduct in-depth interviews (IDIs), focus groups (FGDs), ethnographies, shop-along, and other qualitative activities.
  • Engage with consumers, businesses, and experts in a structured and empathetic manner.
  • Visit on-ground research locations when required.

3.Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Synthesize qualitative data into meaningful insights and narratives.
  • Conduct thematic analysis, segmentation, and consumer journey mapping.
  • Create visually compelling presentations with key findings and recommendations.

4.Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during projects.
  • Present insights, deliverables, and actionable recommendations.
  • Understand client business objectives and propose relevant research solutions.
  • Manage P&L of key accounts and support in generating business

5.Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with analysts, teams, and project managers.
  • Train junior researchers on qualitative techniques and frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to research ethics and quality standards.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong command of qualitative research methods and primary research tools.

Excellent moderation, interviewing, and facilitation skills.

Ability to interpret unstructured data and convert it into clear insights.

Strong storytelling, report writing, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (PPT, Excel) and Qualitative analysis AI-tools.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Automotive, QSR, FMCG Industry experience is must along with knowledge on other verticals.

Educational Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Business, or related fields.

Experience in qualitative research is must
