Principal / Lead Civil Engineer who thrives on delivering large complex projects from concept through to completion.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive design expertise and a proven track record of leading the civil design for hyperscale data centre projects.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
You will be in the Bengaluru office on a Hybrid working basis. The role involves the following:
- Lead the civil engineering team in delivering the detailed civil engineering design of pavements, underground drainage and utilities, and earthworks.
- Take ownership of developing impactful presentations and delivering clear, concise technical updates directly to clients daily. This client-facing role requires exceptional communication skills, ensuring stakeholders remain informed, engaged, and confident in project progress at every stage.
- Proactively coordinate with project managers, technical leads, construction management team and contractors.
- Manage the timely delivery of the civil engineering design to an excellent standard.
- Actively contribute to the ongoing growth and innovation of the Civil Engineering Department by challenging existing standards, driving best practices, and promoting energy-efficient, sustainable design solutions.
Qualifications
You will have:
- Degree in Civil Engineering. Masters would be an advantage.
(Chartered Engineer status, is added atvantage)
- Minimum 15 years experience with at least 5 years experience in managing civil design teams delivering detailed designs of hyperscale mission critical projects (compulsory requirement) on international projects with EPC firms.
- Strong communicator with exceptional verbal and written skills, capable of producing clear, concise reports and engaging presentations directly to Clients.
- Highly adaptable, able to respond effectively to evolving project requirements and dynamic environments.
- Confident in creating and delivering engineering presentations to Clients
- Thorough understanding of civil engineering design standards and construction practices across EMEA.
- Experience as Lead to manage a team of Civil Engineers.
