Senior / Lead AWS Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes. This role ensures that data is accurate, accessible, and secure to support advanced analytics and reporting across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

Architect and manage data warehouse and data lake structures.

Implement and enforce data quality, governance, and security standards.

Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of data workflows.

Must-Have Skills:

6+ years of experience in developing and delivering Data Engineering

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark, DBT.

Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure), with preference for AWS.

Solid understanding of data modelling, governance, and metadata management.

Knowledge of large-scale distributed data systems and their optimization.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
