Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior / Lead Automation QA Engineer with 8–12 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium with C#.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in web automation, API testing, SQL validation, and Agile QA processes, along with the ability to lead QA initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Testing
- Design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium with C#
- Write robust and reusable automated test scripts
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Web & API Testing
- Execute web functional testing (frontend & backend)
- Perform API/backend testing using tools like Postman / SoapUI
- Validate data using SQL/database queries
QA Process & Delivery
- Create and execute test cases and test plans
- Perform regression testing and defect management
- Participate in requirement analysis and documentation
Agile & Collaboration
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
- Lead QA activities and ensure delivery quality
Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
- Drive automation best practices and quality standards
Required Skills (Mandatory)
- Strong experience in Selenium with C#
- Hands-on experience in automation framework development
- Experience with web functional testing and cross-browser testing
- Strong knowledge of API testing and backend validation
- Experience with SQL/database validation
- Strong experience in Agile testing methodologies
- Experience in regression testing and defect tracking
- Ability to lead QA initiatives and teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with Visual Studio-based Selenium frameworks
- Experience with SoapUI / Postman
- Exposure to enterprise or product-based environments
