This B28 Sr. Lead Analyst position is part of the Global Record to Report, Intercompany Center of Excellence and the position will report into the Financial Analyst B30 - Inter Company Center of Excellenc
Purpose of the Role:
The role will be responsible for accounting and reporting of a subset of Intercompany service fee allocations. The incumbent will specifically be responsible for accounting of charge out process.
Intercompany transactions are complex transactions and operate in a highly regulated environment. It will be critical for this position to have a very strong control mindset and ensure all time high levels of financials integrity. Further, strong focus and oversight required to ensure correct application of Intercompany policy/protocol guidelines, monitoring of intercompany account balances, and reporting of key performance indicators associated with the monthly close process for intercompany transactions on a global basis.
The role partners strongly with Transfer Pricing, Local Taxation, Market Controllers, and business teams, that will entail development of strong working relationships and communication across key stakeholders.
Responsibilities/ Critical Factors to Success:

  • He/ She would be responsible for accounting and reporting of various Intercompany Chargeouts for EMEA Region

  • Thorough knowledge of Transfer Pricing and Inter-company transactions.

  • Ensuring timely accounting and adherence to close protocol and various associated Policies like MJE, Spreadsheet etc.

  • Aligning and maintaining relations with key stakeholders across globe at various levels. This would require good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • This position will also be responsible to providing analytics to support critical business initiatives, automations & various other projects that impacts inter-company processes

  • Ensure critical and timely support to global & local audits / regulatory exams.

  • The incumbent should be able to maintain high accuracy and productivity standards and should ensure good control over the month-end financials.

Qualification:
Functional Skills/Capabilities:

  • Advance functional knowledge of ERP financial systems like Oracle etc. would be preferred.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, data analysis and preparation of dashboards.

  • Strong ability to quickly grasp complex issues and gain end to end knowledge of processes.

  • The incumbent should have good maturity and display flexibility to respond quickly to crisis situations.

  • The incumbent will be expected to quickly gain detailed understanding of inputs, processes, controls, flows, metrics, risks, SLA and outputs of the process area.

  • The incumbent will be required to participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives as well as other business partner initiatives.

  • He/ She shall ensure that all deadlines are continually met, and adequate controls are maintained over the processes.

  • The applicant should carry good accounting skills. USGAAP knowledge would be preferred.

Academic Background:

  • B.com with minimum 2-3 years of experience of financial accounting and reporting activities.
