Position Overview
A Senior Landscape Architect will be is responsible for leading landscape design projects, managing junior teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outdoor spaces that meet client expectations and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
- Support the Lead Designer on the design of landscape projects including landscape masterplan, public realm , riverfront, streetscape, residential developments, commercial complexes, public parks, resorts, and infrastructure projects.
- Support and develop conceptual designs, and detailed landscape drawings using CAD and design software
- Coordinate landscape designs with architectural, engineering, and urban planning teams
Project Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through to completion
- Prepare project budgets and schedules
- Review contractor submissions and ensure compliance with design intent
Technical Expertise
- Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and bills of quantities
- Conduct site analysis and assessments, soil conditions, and environmental factors
- Select appropriate materials, plants, and hardscape elements suitable for the local environment
- Ensure compliance with Indian authorities regulations and international standards
Team Leadership
- Mentor and supervise junior landscape architects and BIM modelers, and other design staff
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders during meetings and workshops
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensing
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
- 9-12+ years of relevant experience, International experience will be an added advantage.
- Professional registration/membership (ISOLA ,IFLA, ASLA, or equivalent) is advantageous
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with Revit, Lumion, or other 3D modeling/rendering software will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of GIS and BIM software is a plus
- Understanding of irrigation systems and landscape construction methods
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience of working in large scale projects and public realm projects .
