This role in summary:

  • Senior Key Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and cultivating key account relationships within the consumer durables sector in the South Region of India.
  • This role involves strategic account management, business development, and collaboration with internal teams to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Key Account Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the consumer durables sector within the South Region.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, expanding the portfolio of key accounts.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms, contracts, and agreements with key accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships and compliance with company policies.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, and industry trends within the consumer durables sector in the South Region.
  • Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with the sales team to develop accurate sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with regional business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of plans.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction levels, addressing any issues or concerns promptly to maintain positive relationships.
  • Revenue Growth: Set and achieve revenue targets for the South Region, implementing strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to assess account performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make informed business decisions.
  • Promotions and Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotions, marketing campaigns, and initiatives specific to the South Region.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies and provide regular reports on key account performance, market trends, and regional activities.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the consumer durables sector, specifically within the South Region of India.
  • Strong negotiation and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the consumer durables industry in India, particularly in the South Region.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools.
