Role Overview
Godrej Pet Care is on a mission to redefine pet parenting in Indiaand e-commerce is at the heart of this journey.
As a Key Account Manager E-commerce, you will be driving the next wave of growth across marketplaces. This role goes beyond traditional account managementyou will own the digital shelf, growth levers, consumer funnel, and platform partnerships, ensuring our brands win where today's pet parents are shopping the most: online. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment and love blending data, creativity, and commercial acumen, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities :
1. E-commerce Strategy & Business Planning
Co-create e-commerce channel strategy aligned to brand growth ambitions.
Build and drive Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for each platform with clear inputs on traffic, conversion, and basket size.
Lead Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key e-commerce partners, unlocking growth through visibility, assortment, and activations.
2. Digital Shelf Excellence
Ensure best-in-class product listings: content, images, A+ content, keywords, and SEO optimization.
Continuously improve discoverability and conversion through content experiments and keyword strategy.
Own ratings & reviews strategy to build trust and improve conversion.
3. Demand Generation & Promotions
Plan and execute high-impact campaigns (platform events, mega sale days, brand moments).
Drive performance marketing in collaboration with platforms (sponsored ads, display, search ads).
Build a strong promo calendar with the right mix of offers, bundles, and innovations.
4. Assortment & Portfolio Expansion
Identify assortment gaps and lead new product launches on e-commerce-first timelines.
Drive exclusive packs, bundles, and SKUs tailored for online channels.
Ensure seamless and timely SKU onboarding and catalogue hygiene.
5. Supply Chain & Availability
Own fill rates, OSA (On-Shelf Availability), and inventory health across platforms.
Collaborate closely with supply chain for accurate forecasting and replenishment.
Minimize stock-outs and ensure high service levels during peak demand periods.
6. Commercials, Claims & Payments
Manage platform commercials, margins, and Terms of Trade (ToT).
Track, validate, and close promotional claims and investments.
Ensure strong hygiene on collections, reconciliations, and ROI tracking.
7. Partner Management & Expansion
Build strong, strategic relationships with key account managers at marketplaces and quick commerce players.
Identify and onboard new-age platforms, aggregators, and sellers.
Stay ahead of category trends, competitor moves, and platform algorithms.
8. Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement
Leverage platform dashboards and analytics to drive data-backed decision-making.
Run continuous A/B experiments across pricing, content, and promotions.
Lead cross-functional projects to improve e-commerce capabilities and processes.
Who are we looking for
Education: Post Graduate degree (MBA) in Sales & marketing from a premier B-school
Experience:
Total experience in the range of 2 to 5 years in sales and marketing
Prior experience as Key Account Manager (E-commerce) will be required Skills:
