Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Key Accounts Manager to drive growth across Mumbai and the West region.
This role combines:
- New business development (bringing in new clients)
- Key account ownership (growing existing relationships)
- Execution ownership (working internally to deliver what's sold)
You'll be expected to independently manage accounts, close deals, and build long-term business with clients.
What You'll Be Responsible For
1. Business Development
- Identify and close new opportunities in cosmetics, FMCG, and related sectors
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline in the West region
- Convert enquiries into commercial business in coordination with internal teams
2. Key Account Management
- Own and grow relationships with existing clients
- Drive repeat business and increase share of wallet
- Handle commercial discussions including pricing, contracts, and delivery timelines
3. Sales Planning & Tracking
- Maintain a clear and updated sales pipeline
- Track performance against targets and take corrective actions where needed
- Share structured updates and market feedback with management
4. Internal Coordination
- Work closely with production, design, and logistics teams to ensure execution
- Align client expectations with internal capabilities and timelines
5. Market Understanding
- Stay updated on packaging trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity
- Identify opportunities for new products or improvements based on market inputs
Who This Role Is For
Experience
- 5–10 years in sales or key account management
- Experience in packaging, plastics, FMCG, or pharma preferred
What Matters Most
- Ability to independently manage and grow key accounts
- Track record of closing deals and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Comfort handling both new business and existing accounts
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Clear understanding of sales processes (pipeline management, follow-ups, closures)
Nice to Have
- Experience working with cosmetics or personal care brands
- Exposure to manufacturing-led or solution-based sales
- Familiarity with CRM tools
