Job Description

Position: Senior JavaScript Lead Engineer

Experience: 1013 Years

Location: Remote/Bangalore

Notice Period: Immediate

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of modern frontend applications using React + TypeScript.
  • Design and implement Node.js backend services to process, transform, and serve complex datasets.
  • Build and optimize database queries and schemas using MySQL.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and manage data flows between systems.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce clean code practices, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.

Must-Have Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years in a senior/lead role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with React (hooks, component architecture, performance optimization).
  • Solid backend expertise in Node.js for building APIs and handling data workflows.
  • Deep working knowledge of MySQL, including query optimization, indexing, and schema design.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and asynchronous data flows.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with GraphQL or WebSockets.
  • Experience with database replication, sharding, or scaling in MySQL environments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of caching strategies (Redis, CDN).
  • Experience working in high-volume, data-intensive applications.
