Job Description

Position: Senior JavaScript Lead Engineer

Experience: 1013 Years

Location: Remote/Bangalore

Notice Period: Immediate

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Lead development of modern frontend applications using React + TypeScript.
Design and implement Node.js backend services to process, transform, and serve complex datasets.
Build and optimize database queries and schemas using MySQL.
Integrate third-party APIs and manage data flows between systems.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
Conduct code reviews, enforce clean code practices, and mentor junior engineers.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.

Must-Have Skills

10+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years in a senior/lead role.
Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Strong experience with React (hooks, component architecture, performance optimization).
Solid backend expertise in Node.js for building APIs and handling data workflows.
Deep working knowledge of MySQL, including query optimization, indexing, and schema design.
Experience working with REST APIs and asynchronous data flows.
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Familiarity with GraphQL or WebSockets.
Experience with database replication, sharding, or scaling in MySQL environments.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of caching strategies (Redis, CDN).
Experience working in high-volume, data-intensive applications.
