Somnetics is looking for an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer. Join: Immediate or within 30 days. CTC will be as per market standards.
Key Requirements
Strong work experience in Java and intermediate in Node.js (Express.js or NestJS)
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Skilled in responsive and cross-browser design
Experienced in RESTful API development and MVC architecture
Strong knowledge of MySQL, including design, indexing, transactions, and performance tuning
Follows secure coding practices, including authentication and authorization
Experienced with Git and Linux environments
Basic knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Familiarity with jQuery, React, or Vue is a plus
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using Java and Node.js
Build responsive and standards-compliant user interfaces
Design and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
Design and optimize MySQL databases and queries
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
Integrate third-party APIs and external systems
Participate in code reviews and documentation
Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and Product teams
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
