Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable backend systems and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS servicesespecially S3. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend components while ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and manage microservices-based architectures with an emphasis on scalability and reliability.
- Integrate applications with AWS services, particularly S3, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, etc.
- Develop and optimize database schemas and queries using SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product to deliver high-quality software.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance system performance.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to best coding practices, security standards, and architectural principles.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 9+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Solid experience in designing and building microservices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, especially S3 (file handling, storage policies, integrations).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Good understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker/K8s) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS certification(s) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud-native application design.
