Senior Java Software Engineer

Qualifications:

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible.
• 7 9 years of engineering experience in java developer.
• Strong knowledge of microservices design principles, REST APIs, and messaging systems
• e.g. Kafka.
• Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Hands on experience with CI/CD principals and best practices
• Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence

Must-Have Skills

• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Java (Spring Boot) applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture and REST APIs.
• Support the design, deployment, and integration of distributed microservice architectures.
• Architect and manage secure, cost-optimized AWS cloud solutions leveraging native services.
• Build and maintain high-throughput event streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for seamless code integration and deployment.
• Deploy, scale, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
• Working knowledge of Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools for monitoring, logging, and performance analysis.
