The EMEA Banking Consulting Europe team specializes in delivering Oracle technology and application solutions, including implementation, managed services, and customization for banking clients across Europe.

Job Summary
As an Intermediate Consulting (IC2) Senior Consultant, you will operate independently with occasional guidance, delivering quality work products that comply with Oracle methodologies. You will implement Oracle banking products and technologies to meet dynamic customer requirements, supporting activities across development, implementation, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate as a senior technical team member in development, implementation, and managed service engagements (e.g., migration, integration, and testing support).
  • Analyze, design, and implement technical solutions as per business requirements.
  • Develop programs based on Oracle/client specifications, ensuring adherence to project schedules.
  • Utilize defined standards, tools, and processes to meet Oracle/client quality expectations.
  • Document work and maintain compliance with agreed standards/processes.
  • Adhere to Oracle/client change control and compliance/audit requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality code and effective knowledge transfer/handover after assignments.
  • Provide timely status updates, timesheet, and expense submissions.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:

  • 3-7 years of experience, including at least 2 years in core skill areas
  • Proven experience in end-to-end development, implementation, or support of Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar core banking products
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c or 12c)
  • Experience with application server software, especially Oracle WebLogic
  • Familiarity with release management, source control, and issue tracking tools
  • Strong client interaction and presentation skills
  • Strong command of English for communication and documentation
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Good-to-Have:

  • Experience in banking domain and exposure to banking technologies/concepts
  • Knowledge of DevOps, testing tools, and software development practices
  • Experience with Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, and middleware such as Oracle Fusion SOA Suite
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications

Work Environment

  • Willingness to work offshore/on-site and travel as project needs dictate
  • Open to rotational shift working based on project schedules
  • Ability to pursue Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications when required
  • Resilience under high-pressure, fast-paced work environments
  • Strong team collaboration skills
