We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Consultant to join our Professional Services team. The role involves implementing solutions, custom development, integrating third-party systems, loading data, and configuring interfaces. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a fast-paced environment and possess strong technical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in end-to-end implementation of technical solutions as part of the Professional Services team.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, and client teams to design, develop, and test customizations.
- Develop custom applications and enhancements using Java, Oracle, and scripting languages.
- Assist clients with technical aspects of implementations, including hardware/software sizing, deployment strategies, and integration with third-party systems.
- Lead data migration activities by coordinating with clients to ensure data mapping, format validation, loading, and error resolution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams; mentor junior team members as needed.
Must-Have:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Java-based software development or technical consulting, with a total experience of 48 years.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 and above), Core Java, and J2EE, with at least 4 years of hands-on development experience, including server-side, real-time, transaction-based applications.
- Solid understanding and practical experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Proven expertise in the Spring Framework, including Spring MVC and Spring Boot, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining microservices-based architectures.
- Must have strong skills in Oracle SQL / MySQL / PL/SQL.
- Experience in developing or customizing applications using Java and scripting languages.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional email and documentation etiquette.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Good-to-Have:
- Exposure to middle-tier programming using Servlets.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and XML.
- Experience using Eclipse IDE and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Experience with system sizing, deployment, and third-party software integration.
- Mentoring experience or ability to guide junior team members.
