Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building cloud-native applications, designing distributed systems, and working in Agile environments. Strong communication skills and ownership mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and manage Microservices-based architecture
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Design and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and release management
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Frontend
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Core Java (7+ years)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Expertise in Microservices architecture
- Strong working knowledge of AWS (mandatory)
- Experience with TypeScript
- Database experience with MongoDB or MySQL
- Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Experience with REST APIs and API integration
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure (additional cloud exposure)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
