Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Java Developer (Elastic Search) based in Chennai. The selected candidate will work on developing and maintaining robust software solutions using Java and the Spring Framework. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and enhancing microservices, as well as integrating and managing Elastic Search. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing, scalable, and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications
- 5+ years of experience in Java development (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with Elastic Search, including integration and query optimization
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
- Develop microservices using Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.)
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with frontend developers, Product owners, and QA teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Core Java (Collections, Multithreading, Streams, OOP concepts)
- Hands-on experience with: Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
- Experience building REST APIs
- Experience with databases like CouchDB, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Experience with Git and version control
- Understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience with Maven or Gradle
