We at Coforge are hiring a Senior Java Developer with the following skill-set:
Key Responsibilities -
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years of professional experience in software development with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Kafka development and streaming solutions.
- Proficiency in Kafka ecosystem components (e.g., Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry).
- Strong programming skills in Java (must), Python.
- Experience in building microservices with frameworks like Spring Boot or similar.
- Familiarity with Kafka deployment and configuration in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or OCI).
- Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as ActiveMQ.
- Design, develop, and maintain Kafka-based data pipelines and streaming applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define system architecture, and implement solutions aligned with business needs.
- Optimize Kafka configurations and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth real-time data processing.
- Develop integrations between Kafka and other systems, leveraging APIs, connectors, and data transformation techniques.
- Implement and maintain best practices for data serialization formats such as Avro or JSON.
- Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters, ensuring reliability and implementing disaster recovery strategies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members on Kafka-related solutions.
