Location: Mumbai
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Notice Period: Immediate 30 Days

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java backend systems for large-scale data processing
Work with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into robust technical solutions
Implement parallel data processing and optimize performance for massive datasets
Optimize system memory usage and backend efficiency
Integrate backend systems with relational databases and data warehouses
Write and fine-tune complex SQL queries for ETL and analytics
Ensure adherence to data security and compliance standards
Conduct peer code reviews and maintain high coding standards
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend and data workflows
Required Technical Skills
6+ years in Java backend development, especially for data-heavy applications
3+ years of advanced SQL experience
Strong knowledge of parallel data processing frameworks
Expertise in memory optimization & performance tuning
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server
Proficiency in cloud platforms AWS / GCP / Azure
Solid understanding of SDLC, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of data security & privacy regulations
Mathematical & Analytical Skills
Strong mathematical foundation for algorithms and formulas
Excellent analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling
Soft Skills
Strong verbal & written communication
Detail-oriented with high attention to accuracy
Passion for data and backend engineering
Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams
Strong ownership & project management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certification / advanced AWS experience
Python for data analysis
Experience with PostgreSQL/MS SQL dialects
Knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and pipelines
Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
Understanding of data visualization concepts
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
Master's degree preferred
