Senior IT Business Analyst - Robotic Process Automation

As a Senior IT Business Analyst - Robotic Process Automation at Medtronic, you'll be a vital part of our Hyperautomation team within Enterprise Architecture Data Platforms. You will drive the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, primarily using Automation Anywhere, to optimize business and IT processes. This role involves understanding complex business challenges, gathering requirements, designing automation solutions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to empower our services with digital capabilities.

A Day in the Life

You will play a pivotal role in enabling digital superpowers across Medtronic by:

• Serving as the primary contact for business stakeholders, consulting with senior leaders to translate business goals into automation use cases.
• Leading and participating in challenging automation projects, including setting communication plans, identifying automation needs through workshops and prototyping, and documenting technical requirements.
• Engaging with IT technical and cross-functional teams to identify optimal solutions.
• Collaborating with IT security, privacy, and quality departments on data privacy and compliance requirements.
• Proactively identifying and driving new automation use cases and data-driven product innovations.
• Facilitating user acceptance tests and deployment tasks.
• Explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience in IT integration with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Certification from UI Path or Automation Anywhere.
• Extensive experience in gathering, documenting, and challenging business requirements, including creating detailed process maps and user stories.
• Good presentation and business process/solution design visualization skills.
• Strong knowledge of Hyper automation fundamentals, including RPA, AI/ML, and Process Mining.
• Experience as a developer of RPA solutions within UI Path or Automation Anywhere is a plus.
