For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Senior IT Business Analyst with +8 years of experience in BI, Data and Reporting projects.
We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering, Elicitation and Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and document clear, concise business requirements;
- Business Requirements Document (BRD): A comprehensive document that captures all business requirements for the project;
- Process Flow Diagrams/Modelling & Mapping: Visual representation of existing and future state processes i.e. creation of as-is and to-be process maps (e.g., using BPMN, UML);
- Use Case / User Stories: Detailed use cases or user stories for development and testing purposes;
- Functional Specifications: Detailed documents that describe the functionality required to meet business requirements;
- Gap Analysis & Impact Assessment: Determining solution or requirement gaps for identified business needs;
- Stakeholder Mapping & Communication Plan: A document identifying key stakeholders and outlining the communication strategy. Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to align project goals with business strategy;
- Solution Assessment & Validation: Evaluating proposed/implemented solutions and ensuring they meet business needs. Documentation of test cases that align with the business requirements to support the quality assurance process;
- Change Management Support: Support change management efforts by helping stakeholders adapt to new processes and technologies;
- Risk and Issue Logs: Regular updates on any risks or issues, with mitigation strategies and action plans;
Profile
- Bachelor or Master degree;
- +10 years of IT industry experience;
- +8 years of experience in BI, Data and Reporting projects;
- Expertise in data analytics skills using relevant tools and platforms;
- Experience in writing SQLs for data analysis
- Experience in Agile Methodology and Implementation;
- Working level experience in Relational Databases like Oracle, SQL, Postgres.etc;
- Working experience in BI tools preferably Power BI, Tableau or MSBI Stack;
- Sound logical and reasoning skills with strong critical and problem-solving ability;
- Fluent in English;
