Role: This is a full-time role for a Senior Investment Manager based out of Hyderabad. The individual will be responsible for leading the execution of investment transactions made from our balance sheet - both direct investments as well as investments from our fund-of-fund strategy. These investments will be made on a sector agnostic basis with an impact lens.
Key responsibilities will include:
- analyzing industry trends and contributing to the investment thesis including publishing market scan reports;
- building ecosystem (founders, co-investors etc.) connects through extensive networking;
- overseeing sourcing and creation of pipeline for investments;
- undertaking in-depth business and financial due diligence;
- writing investment memos and presenting investment proposal to investment committee.
- negotiating term sheets;
- assisting in legal due diligence and finalization of transaction documents in close coordination with legal counsel; and
- monitoring the investments post investing.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in equity investing.
- Should have led or been an integral part of at least 4 equity transactions.
- Proven expertise in investment strategy, portfolio management, and risk assessment.
- Exceptional analytical skills and financial analysis.
- Proficient in MS office and AI tools for market scans, investment memo, due diligence etc.
- Experience with investments in impact-driven businesses is an advantage.
