About the Role
SCDS is looking for talented and committed Interior Designers and Architects to join our Mumbai team. The candidate should have a strong design sense, technical knowledge, and the ability to work across concept design, detailing, material coordination, vendor coordination, and site execution.
We are hiring for Senior position only.
Senior Designers / Architects
1. 5+ years of relevant experience in interior design, architecture, or design execution.
2. Experience in residential, hospitality, clubhouse, commercial, or luxury interiors preferred.
Key Responsibilities for Senior Designers / Architects
1. Lead design development from concept to execution.
2. Prepare and review detailed working drawings, BOQs, specifications, and material schedules.
3. Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
4. Manage junior team members and ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery.
5. Conduct site visits, resolve design/site issues, and ensure execution matches design intent.
6. Handle multiple projects with strong attention to detail, timelines, and quality.
Required Skills
1. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
2. Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, hardware, lighting, and construction details.
3. Good understanding of site execution and practical detailing.
4. Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.
5. Strong communication and coordination skills.
6. Should be open to travel for site visits and project work.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced design environment.
Software Knowledge
1. AutoCAD mandatory.
2. SketchUp, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, or rendering software knowledge will be an added advantage.
