Senior Interior Designer Modular Kitchen & Furniture
Role overview
Opulent Kuche (premium modular kitchen & furniture firm) is urgently hiring a Senior Interior Designer with strong experience in modular kitchens and modular furniture. The role is based in Pune and focuses on endtoend client handling from design to successful project handover.
Key responsibilities
- Meet walkin and referred clients, understand their requirements, lifestyle, and budget for modular kitchens and wardrobes.
- Prepare layouts, 2D drawings, and 3D views for modular kitchens and modular furniture using design software (AutoCAD/SketchUp or similar)
- Present designs confidently, handle client queries, explain materials, hardware, and accessories, and justify pricing.
- Prepare and revise BOQs and quotations; support negotiation and actively participate in closing deals.
- Coordinate accurate site measurements and ensure designs match actual site conditions before ordering.
- Raise final production/order sheets and coordinate with factory, vendors, and installation teams for smooth execution.
- Visit sites during execution to resolve design/fitment issues, track progress, and ensure work quality as per design and brand standards.
- Manage timelines so projects are completed and handed over successfully with high client satisfaction and referrals.
- Maintain proper documentation of each project (drawings, selections, approvals, handover notes).
Candidate profile
- Mandatory: Experience in the modular kitchen and modular furniture industry (showroom/design studio or similar).
- Minimum 25 years of relevant experience in designing and executing residential modular kitchen and furniture projects.
- Strong design and spaceplanning sense for kitchens, wardrobes, and storage with practical knowledge of carcass, shutters, hardware, and accessories.
- Confident in client interaction, presentations, and site coordination; ability to independently handle projects from design to handover.
- Proficiency in at least one design software (AutoCAD / SketchUp / similar) and basic MS Office.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design / Architecture preferred.
Salary and incentives
- Fixed salary: 25,000 30,000 per month, based on experience and skills.
- Attractive performancebased incentives on converted and successfully executed projects; total earning potential of 40,000+ per month for good performers.
- Urgent joining preferred; candidates who can join immediately or on short notice will be prioritised.
