Senior Interior Designer

Role Description The Senior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept development through detailed design and execution, including space planning, material selection, and FF&E coordination. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, collaborating with architects and engineers, and ensuring design solutions align with project objectives, budgets, and timelines. The role involves client communication, presentations, and design reviews, as well as mentoring junior designers and coordinating with vendors and contractors to maintain quality and design integrity during implementation. The Senior Interior Designer is expected to uphold NOVARCH's standards of sustainability, functionality, and aesthetics across residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to develop cohesive, functional layouts for diverse project types.
• Solid foundation in Architecture and understanding of coordination between interior design and overall building design.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and detailed documentation for execution.
• Hands-on experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and presentation tools).
• Demonstrated experience leading interior projects, including client-facing responsibilities and team coordination.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and familiarity with green building standards (LEED/GRIHA) is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
