Senior Instructional Designer

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support the development and review of K–12 digital instructional content for U.S.-based educational projects. The ideal candidate should have strong instructional design expertise, experience working with U.S. curriculum standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and curriculum teams.

Please note that this is a Night Shift role aligned with U.S. working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and improve lessons developed by SMEs for instructional flow, clarity, and standards alignment
• Ensure alignment between learning objectives, content, activities, and assessments
• Identify instructional gaps and recommend improvements
• Create storyboards and identify media requirements, including videos, graphics, and interactive components
• Develop instructional scripts and multimedia learning content
• Conduct quality checks for grammar, tone, formatting, citations, and clarity
• Implement internal and client review comments effectively
• Use AI tools for instructional review, content drafting, and media ideation
• Validate AI-generated outputs for instructional quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with curriculum leads, production teams, and SMEs
• Participate in virtual review and alignment meetings

Required Qualifications

• Post-Graduate degree in English, Literature, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, or related fields
• 3–5 years of experience in K–12 instructional design
• Experience working with U.S.-based curriculum clients
• Strong understanding of U.S. K–12 educational standards and standards alignment
• Strong writing, visualization, and storyboard review skills
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines, such as WCAG principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Familiarity with eLearning tools and digital media modalities
• Working knowledge of AI tools for instructional support
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Articulate Rise or similar digital authoring platforms
• Experience in standards mapping and digital lesson production workflows
