Role Description

This is a contract remote position for a Senior Instructional Designer (Articulate Storyline Specialist). In this role, you will perform tasks such as conducting needs analysis, designing and developing instructional content, and managing the curriculum development process. Additionally, you will create interactive e-learning modules using tools like Articulate Storyline and collaborate with stakeholders to align learning solutions with business objectives. You will focus on creating innovative and learner-focused designs that support workforce development goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Instructional Design & Learning Architecture

Design learner-centric digital learning solutions using ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Adult Learning Theory.

Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and translate business requirements into instructional strategies.

Develop High-Level Design (HLD), Detailed Design Documents (DDD), storyboards, and assessment blueprints.

Apply scenario-based learning, gamification, branching logic, and microlearning strategies.

2. Articulate Storyline Development

Develop interactive SCORM/xAPI compliant modules using Articulate Storyline (latest version).

Build advanced interactions using triggers, variables, and conditional branching.

Create simulations, knowledge checks, and adaptive assessments.

Ensure responsive design and LMS compatibility.

Optimize content for accessibility (WCAG compliance preferred).

3. Project & Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with SMEs, business leaders, graphic designers, and developers.

Lead requirement gathering workshops and design reviews.

Manage timelines, scope, and quality assurance.

Provide effort estimation and support RFP solutioning (preferred).

4. Quality & Compliance

Ensure instructional and technical quality standards.

Conduct UAT and LMS testing.

Maintain documentation and version control.

Align deliverables with branding and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Psychology, Management, or related field.

Certification in Instructional Design or eLearning (preferred).

Strong portfolio demonstrating advanced Storyline projects.

Required Experience

Minimum 810 years of experience in Instructional Design.

At least 5+ years hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline.

Experience in corporate L&D, consulting, or eLearning services environment.

Exposure to global clients and multi-domain content (preferred).
