Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Azure Mastery:

Leverage your years of hands-on experience to masterfully design, migrate, and maintain complex application workloads on the Azure cloud.

2. Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

Craft scalable and reliable hub-and-spoke network architectures, facilitating the seamless onboarding of business applications.
Engineer vital components such as virtual networks, security groups, firewalls (FortiGate), load balancers, application gateways, and traffic managers. 3. Virtualization:
Demonstrate proficiency in virtualization technologies, ensuring efficient resource utilization and high-performance computing environments.

4. Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code:

Harness the power of automation tools, including Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell, to provision Azure services efficiently.

5. Datacentre Migration:

Formulate and implement migration strategies for traditional systems, ensuring a smooth transition to the Azure cloud. Conduct proof-of-concept initiatives for the latest Azure-based services.

6. Security and Governance:

Develop and implement robust data security and governance policies and standards.
Offer recommendations for right-sizing Azure data infrastructure, taking cost considerations into account.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of endpoint security measures and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions.

7. Firewall (FortiGate) Expertise:

Exhibit a strong understanding of FortiGate firewall technologies and implement robust security measures.

8. Disaster Recovery and Backup:

Lead the implementation and management of disaster recovery setups from on-premises to the cloud, aligning with specific client requirements.
Deploy, maintain, and test enhanced backup, failover, failback, and disaster recovery capabilities.

9. Azure Active Directory and Connectivity:

Architect and implement Azure Active Directory seamlessly, ensuring effective on-premises integration.
Establish hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises infrastructure, utilizing virtual networks, VPN, and Express Route.

10. Documentation and Communication:

Document Azure processes comprehensively for future reference, maintaining clear and concise records.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients, offering technical guidance and support.

11. Datacentre Management:

Oversee data centre operations, guaranteeing 100% uptime for critical applications.
Manage Windows server administration tasks, including patching, backup, security, and monitoring.
