Position: Software Engineer
Type:Contract
Compensation:$180/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Improve CI performance, reliability, and observability to enhance infrastructure velocity.
- Build runner autoscaling and system hardening for scalable systems.
- Implement alerting and notification systems to increase visibility into CI pipelines.
- Enhance CLI usability and discoverability to streamline developer workflows.
- Manage and optimize SaaS tools and configurations for efficient procurement and inventory.
- Build reusable Pulumi modules and service templates to standardize infrastructure practices.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with backend systems, infrastructure, or developer tooling.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems, CLI tooling, SaaS/IT systems, or Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and systems thinking.
