Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Recruiter with a strong background in sourcing and hiring for technology roles within the U.S. Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the Domestic India recruitment landscape, possess a deep understanding of insurance technology (InsurTech), and have experience working with clients or candidates in Property & Casualty, Life & Annuities, or Health Insurance verticals.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and business goals.
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates for IT roles, including Developers, Business Analysts, QA, Architects, and Project Managers with insurance-specific experience.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, interviewing, coordinating interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, Indeed, and internal databases.
- Understand various insurance platforms and tools (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Salesforce for Insurance, Majesco, etc.).
- Maintain ATS records, ensure compliance, and follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Provide market insights and suggest hiring strategies based on current trends in the U.S. Insurance and IT space.
Key Skills and Requirements:- 37 years of experience as an IT Recruiter with at least 2 years in the U.S. Insurance domain.
- Solid understanding of insurance business lines (Life, Health, P&C) and the technologies supporting them.
- Proven experience in sourcing for roles across technologies like Java, .NET, Python, Data Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, etc., especially within insurance projects.
- Excellent knowledge of sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, social media recruitment, and proactive networking.
- Familiarity with visa types, tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099), and U.S. hiring practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Experience working with InsurTech startups or major U.S. insurance firms (e.g., MetLife, Prudential, AIG, Allstate).
- Prior experience in an agency or staffing firm supporting U.S. clients is a plus.
