Job description:

The Automation Trainer will lead and deliver advanced training programs in industrial automation technologies while driving curriculum development, technical excellence, and trainer capability building. This role involves mentoring junior trainers, managing end-to-end training operations, and ensuring high-quality learning outcomes aligned with industry standards. The position also requires involvement in project-based learning, client training, and technical consulting support.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver advanced training programs in Industrial Automation and BMS (PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, Electrical & Electronics, Electro-Hydraulic & Pneumatic, CCTV, ACS, PAGA, LAN, etc.).

Design, develop, and continuously upgrade training curriculum, course materials, and digital learning content as per industry trends.

Mentor and supervise junior trainers to ensure consistent training quality across batches and locations.

Drive hands-on, project-based learning and guide trainees in real-time industrial applications.

Manage training schedules, batch planning, workshops, and seminars (online/offline).

Collaborate with internal teams and external clients for customized training programs and technical requirements.

Provide technical consulting support and assist in automation project execution when required.

Ensure lab readiness, equipment utilization, and maintenance of training infrastructure.

Track student performance, provide feedback, and improve training effectiveness.

Maintain updated technical documentation, manuals, and product knowledge aligned with current technologies.

Key Competencies:

Strong expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems

Advanced troubleshooting and real-time problem-solving skills

Leadership and team mentoring ability

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to design structured training programs and technical content

Strong industry orientation with practical project exposure

Experience & Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field

5–7+ years of experience in industrial automation training/project execution

Prior experience in training, mentoring, or leading teams is preferred
