Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Industrial Automation Engineer with strong expertise in
PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions for industrial systems and manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
- Configure and develop SCADA applications for real-time monitoring and control of plant operations.
- Design and develop HMI screens for operator interface and process visualization.
- Troubleshoot automation systems, including PLC, SCADA, and HMI issues.
- Integrate automation systems with field devices such as sensors, actuators, drives, and instrumentation.
- Perform system commissioning, testing, and validation at client sites.
- Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless automation integration.
- Maintain documentation including control logic, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in PLC Programming (Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text).
- Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and industrial control platforms.
- Experience in HMI development and configuration.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC.
- Experience in industrial automation systems integration and commissioning.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, or Schneider Electric.
- Experience working in manufacturing, automotive, or process industries.
- Knowledge of industrial networking and control system architecture.
- Exposure to IIoT or Industry 4.0 technologies is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Automation Engineering or related field.
