Mps is looking for Indexer for Noida and Chennai Location.

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Indexer to create accurate and well-structured indexes for books, journals, and digital content. The role requires strong analytical skills, subject understanding, and adherence to publishing standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and edit subject indexes as per client and style guidelines
• Analyze content to identify key terms and concepts
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and logical structure of entries
• Meet quality standards and tight deadlines
• Collaborate with editors and production teams as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong command of English language and grammar
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Familiarity with indexing tools and publishing workflows (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Preferred Background:

• Experience in academic or professional publishing
• Knowledge of style guides (Chicago, APA, etc.) is a plus
