The team you will be a part of
The Electrical Engineering team designs, develops or coordinates development of components, small systems, quality systems, processes or materials.
This Role In Summary
This position is responsible for the end-to-end development of printed circuit board layout.Responsibilities include creating complex PCB layouts ensuring compliance with industry.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Hardware, Firmware, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to establish PCB requirements and ensure alignment with the overall product architecture.
- End-to-End Layout Execution : Perform comprehensive PCB layout tasks—including component placement, routing, stack-up definition, and constraint-driven design—using premier EDA tools.
- Documentation & Release : Generate accurate, IPC-compliant manufacturing packages, including Gerber/ODB++ files, assembly drawings, and detailed fabrication specifications.
- Compliance & Best Practices : Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards (IPC-2221/2222), safety regulations, clearance/creepage rules, and EMC/EMI best practices.
- Schematic Co-Design: Advise schematic engineers on layout-friendly component selection, strategic placement, and routing recommendations.
- DFx Leadership : Proactively drive Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test (DFM/DFA/DFT) initiatives in coordination with internal production teams and external partners.
- Risk Mitigation : Lead and participate in formal design reviews to identify, communicate, and resolve PCB-related technical risks.
- Prototyping & Debugging : Assist in prototype bring-up and troubleshoot layout-driven issues, such as thermal bottlenecks, SI/PI anomalies, or manufacturing defects.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : B.E in Electronics , Electronics and telecommunication Engineering. Experience : 6-10 years
Preferred Skills And Experiences
Risk Mitigation : Lead and participate in formal design reviews to identify, communicate, and resolve PCB-related technical risks.
- Prototyping & Debugging : Assist in prototype bring-up and troubleshoot layout-driven issues, such as thermal bottlenecks, SI/PI anomalies, or manufacturing defects.
- Sustaining Engineering: Support the lifecycle of existing products by updating layouts for obsolete components or executing product enhancement initiatives.
- Process Improvement : Manage component libraries, enforce configuration-management standards, and continuously optimize PCB design workflows and toolsets.
- General Support : Undertake additional tasks and projects as required to achieve departmental goals.
