Job Description

Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Bengaluru

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Mode: On-Site (5 Days Working from Office)

The Role

We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Senior Graphic Designer who can own and elevate Olyv's visual identity across all customer touchpoints. This role goes beyond creating creatives it requires someone who can think strategically, lead campaigns, influence brand direction, mentor junior designers, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Growth, CRM, and Leadership teams.

You will play a critical role in shaping how millions of Indians experience and engage with the Olyv brand across digital, social, product, performance marketing, and retention channels.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Creative Leadership

  • Own and evolve Olyv's visual identity across all online and offline channels
  • Act as the custodian of the brand, ensuring consistency while continuously introducing fresh and innovative design thinking
  • Build, maintain, and scale comprehensive design systems, templates, and brand guidelines
  • Translate business objectives into compelling visual storytelling and customer-centric creative solutions
  • Lead creative conceptualization and execution for key brand campaigns, product launches, employer branding initiatives, and strategic marketing programs

Campaign Ownership & Creative Direction

  • Drive end-to-end ownership of major marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Develop creative directions, campaign narratives, and visual strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Present concepts, design rationale, and creative recommendations confidently to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure campaigns maintain consistency across social media, performance marketing, product communications, CRM, and offline channels.
  • Collaborate with content, growth, and marketing teams to create integrated campaign experiences.

Social Media & Performance Marketing

  • Design high-performing creatives across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Display, and emerging digital platforms.
  • Create engaging carousels, static creatives, motion graphics, reels covers, story templates, banners, and performance ads.
  • Design retention marketing creatives for Push Notifications, WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, Emails, and in-app communications.
  • Understand audience behavior and platform-specific best practices to maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, cultural moments, and evolving platform behaviors.

AI-Powered Design & Innovation

  • Integrate AI tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, DALL·E, Canva AI, Gemini, Pomelli, and emerging platforms into daily workflows.
  • Leverage AI for ideation, visual exploration, content generation, prototyping, and creative experimentation.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve creative efficiency and quality through AI-enabled workflows.
  • Introduce and evangelize new creative technologies and best practices within the organization.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product, Growth, Marketing, CRM, Business, and Leadership teams to understand business objectives and deliver impactful creative solutions.
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive and visually compelling communication.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, projects, priorities, and timelines effectively.
  • Influence decision-making through strong presentation, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Act as a trusted creative partner for key business initiatives and strategic projects.

Team Mentorship & Design Excellence

  • Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to elevate overall creative quality.
  • Conduct design reviews and establish best practices for visual design, branding, and creative production.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Raise the bar for creative excellence across all design deliverables.

Data-Driven Creativity

  • Understand how design impacts customer behavior, engagement, CTRs, conversions, and retention metrics.
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer insights to optimize creative effectiveness.
  • Conduct A/B testing and iterate creatives based on performance data.
  • Balance creativity with measurable business outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience 4–6 years of experience in Graphic Design, Brand Design, Visual Communication, or related fields.
  • Experience working in high-growth startups, fintech, consumer technology companies, or creative agencies.
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating strong work across branding, social media, performance marketing, campaigns, and digital design.
