Senior GIS Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Senior GIS Engineer. The role involves designing, developing, and managing geographic data systems and tools. The Senior GIS Engineer will work on integrating spatial data into existing platforms, optimizing GIS workflows, and analyzing geospatial datasets to support organizational decision-making. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and implementing industry best practices for GIS-related activities.

• Proficiency in GIS concepts, spatial data processing, and spatial database management
• Experience with GIS software tools, including but not limited to QGIS, ArcGIS, and PostGIS
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for spatial analysis and automation
• Strong skills in data visualization and cartographic design
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering data-driven solutions
• Familiarity with cloud technologies related to geospatial data storage, such as AWS or Google Cloud, is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field
