Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Gainsight Developer located in Pune, with some work-from-home flexibility as a hybrid role. The Senior Gainsight Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Gainsight solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing scalable software solutions, and writing clean, efficient code. The role will also involve analyzing user requirements, refining system specifications, and ensuring the highest levels of quality and performance.

Core Experience
  • 5+ years in technical support or engineering (preferably SaaS).
  • 2+ years hands-on with Gainsight administration/support.

JD:

The role involves end-to-end solution design and delivery by translating Customer Success (CS) and VOC team requirements into actionable JIRA stories, refining them through stakeholder discussions, and implementing tested solutions in Gainsight. It includes creating enablement documentation, managing scorecards, success plans, and opportunity processes, integrating usage data to drive health scores and CTAs, and customizing company structures and dashboards. The position also focuses on strategic planning by exploring unused Gainsight features, analyzing churn data, and fostering innovation through idea reviews and sprint allocations. Additionally, the role requires leading a small technical team, documenting architecture changes, fixing production bugs, and ensuring smooth execution of CS initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support or engineering roles, preferably in SaaS environments.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Gainsight administration or support.
  • Strong understanding of customer success processes and data models.
  • Proficiency in SQL, APIs, and data integration tools (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake, Segment).
  • Familiarity with Gainsight features like Rules Engine, Journey Orchestrator, and Reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

ITIL, Gainsight Admin Certification, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
