Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Private Equity Fund Accountant with hands-on experience in Allvue, Everest, or Black Mountain.

The role will be responsible for end-to-end fund accounting activities across private equity structures, ensuring accurate financial reporting, investor allocations, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end fund accounting for Private Equity funds, including:
• Capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
• NAV calculation and review
• Management fees, carried interest, and expense allocations
• Investor statements and capital account reports
• Maintain and operate fund accounting systems such as Allvue / Everest / Black Mountain
• Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Treasury, Compliance) and external parties:
• Auditors
• Administrators
• Tax advisors
• Support audit processes and respond to auditor queries efficiently
• Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS and fund documentation (LPAs)
• Assist in system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting
• Mandatory hands-on experienceAllvue/Everest/Black Mountain
• Strong understanding of:
• Private Equity fund structures
• Capital accounting and waterfall calculations
• NAV and investor reporting
• Advanced Excel skills: exposure to reporting tools is a plus
