Senior Full Stack Engineer

Company Description: ApplyRyt is a technology-enabled job application platform that manages the end-to-end job search process on behalf of its clients. Our platform combines automated application processing with a dedicated operations team, and supports the complete client lifecycle including onboarding, subscription billing, application tracking, and internal workforce management.

Role Description: We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and take technical ownership of our core web platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for platform architecture, engineering quality standards, and the delivery of new product capabilities.

This is a senior individual contributor role with significant technical autonomy, reporting directly to the Founder. The role carries responsibility for establishing engineering practices that will support the growth of the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum 6 years of professional experience in full stack web development.

Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and React, with demonstrated experience in production Next.js applications (App Router experience preferred).

Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically DynamoDB, S3, and IAM, including data modelling and access pattern design for NoSQL databases.

Proven production experience integrating payment systems, preferably Stripe, including subscriptions, webhooks, and billing reconciliation.

Demonstrated experience improving and modernising established production codebases through incremental refactoring, without disruption to service availability.

Strong background in automated testing and continuous integration practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical decisions clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing and operating background job processing systems, queues, and scheduled workloads at scale.

Working knowledge of Python, for integration with adjacent backend services.

Prior experience as an early engineering hire in a high-growth environment.

Exposure to LLM-based product features and associated integration patterns.
