Job Description

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a premier institute.
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing, testing, and launching applications on Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento platforms.
Experience with publishing apps/plugins in the Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento app stores is a must.
Proven experience with the full lifecycle of app development, from initial design to final release.
Experience in developing payment-related apps on any of these platforms is highly desirable.
Proficiency in backend languages (PHP, Ruby, and Python) and frontend web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Vue.js).
Excellent understanding of databases, server-side templating languages, and user authentication/authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire for quality.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage the development of new applications and features for our e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) to drive customer engagement and improve the user experience.
Actively participate in every aspect of the whole lifecycle of applications, from ideation to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all application features and updates align with company goals, market needs, and customer experience enhancement.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, development practices, and updates from Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento.
Continually optimize our e-commerce applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them successfully.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to application design and code.
Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices are being followed.
