RemitWise (Dollapee pvt ltd acquired by Cashfree payments) is a payment platform under Cashfree Payments that enables Indian businesses to manage global SaaS payments both receiving and making from India, through a local, India-centric payment stack.

About Remitwise

Remitwise is a new initiative from Cashfree Payments designed to make sending money abroad simple, transparent and stress-free. International payments today are confusing; hidden FX charges, failed card transactions and compliance hurdles create unnecessary friction. We are changing that with purpose-based flows, real-time interbank FX, automated LRS and TCS handling and a clean, user-first design.

We are launching with the users who experience the most cross-border friction: students and families. As we grow, we will expand the platform to enable effortless international payments for freelancers, travellers, travel agents and SMBs as well.

What are we looking for

For us, technical and cultural fit is equally important. Since we already covered the cultural bit, let's now talk to the developer side of you. We are seeking a lead full-stack developer who has a knack for coming up with creative solutions to unique problems. You should have good time management skills and be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively. Most importantly, you have an eye for detail and the ability to make beautiful designs come to life through code.

What You Will Need :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline)
• Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, storage technologies, distributed computing, operating systems, etc.
• Front-end experience using react or angular
• Advanced knowledge of Node.js, React/ HTML, CSS, javascript, MongoDB and AWS
• Experience with building self-healing, automatic fault detection, and recovery mechanisms is good to have.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Robust and defensive coding skills using node.js.

What you'll do

• Design and develop robust services in coordination with front-end developers, ensuring the production and development of high-quality and well-tested code
• Design, develop, and test features alongside other technical departments
• Lead the department in the design, development, deployment, and operation of services used by our users
• Optimize APIs for any applications while creating and maintaining unit tests for new code as well as fix defects
• Participate in the continuous integration of automated builds and deployments, ensuring that deliverables meet functional and design requirements and specifications of the site/software.
