Senior Full Stack Developer (NodeJS + React)

Software Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of software development life cycles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining web applications.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of scalable and high-performance web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the quality and maintainability of the code through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to system architecture design, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Technical Skills:

Core Development:

• Strong expertise in NodeJS, React, and JavaScript.
• hands-on experience with TypeScript.

APIs & Integration:

• Excellent knowledge in developing scalable and highly available RESTful APIs.
• Practical experience with GraphQL.

DevOps & CI/CD:

• Well-versed in CI/CD principles, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting distributed services.

Containerization:

• Understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

Messaging & Queues:

• Expert knowledge of task/message queues, including but not limited to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.

Security & Authentication:

• Familiarity with Single-Sign-On (SSO) and token-based authentication methods (REST, JWT, OAuth).
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring applications.

Functional Skills:

• Experience in adhering to best practices for coding, security, unit testing, and documentation.
• Background in banking, financial services, or fintech is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Ability to ensure quality in technical and application architecture across the organization.
• Capable of researching and benchmarking technology against industry standards.

Experience:

• 9+ years of software development experience with a focus on NodeJS, React, and databases.
• Proven experience in an enterprise environment, preferably within financial services or fintech.

Qualifications: Degree: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
