Role: Senior Frontend Engineer
Location: Remote (U.S.) or Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 base
Role Description
We're hiring a senior frontend engineer to build the interfaces that power our internal systems.
This is not a marketing site role.
You'll be building production dashboards, admin tools, analytics surfaces, and review workflows used daily by operators and internal teams. These interfaces sit on top of AWS-backed systems and require translating complex data into fast, usable experiences.
You'll own the frontend layer end-to-end:
- Design system and component library
- Data-heavy dashboards and reporting views
- Real-time system interfaces (live data, alerts, events)
- Internal tools used by non-technical teams
You'll work directly with REST and event-driven APIs and are expected to push back when backend decisions negatively impact the user experience.
What You'll Work On
- Operational dashboards with real-time telemetry
- Multi-tenant admin panels and internal tools
- Analytics views with filtering, segmentation, and reporting
- Review and approval workflows tied to backend systems
- Interfaces that translate complex system behavior into clear actions
Required
- 7+ years of production frontend experience (not landing pages or simple CRUD)
- Strong React + TypeScript experience with clear architectural judgment
- Experience building data-driven applications (dashboards, analytics, internal tools)
- Strong state management experience (React Query, Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or similar)
- Experience with Vite in production environments
- Data visualization experience (Recharts, Visx, D3, or similar)
- Experience building real-time UIs (WebSockets, SSE, polling strategies)
- Experience building or contributing to a design system
- Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA baseline)
- Comfortable working with AWS-backed environments (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Cognito)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience building internal tools or observability platforms
- Experience with review, moderation, or approval systems
- Experience building tools for non-technical users (operations, marketing, support)
- Familiarity with Playwright, Vitest, or React Testing Library
- Experience with Next.js, Remix, or TanStack Router
- Experience shipping internationalized products at scale
