PS: This is a contract position, starts with a 6 months contract, likely to extend based on performance & project need.
We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contractual basis. You will be building scalable systems and delivering exceptional user experiences. This is a hands-on role that involves close collaboration with product, design, and backend teams to develop and ship features that serve millions of users.
Your day to day: In your day to day role you will:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant frontend systems and features.
- Own projects end-to-end from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver new features and improve existing ones.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards, and mentor junior developers where needed.
- Investigate and resolve complex frontend performance and production issues.
- Continuously improve our frontend architecture, tooling, and development processes.
Skillsets Needed
- 6+ years of experience building modern web applications with React.js, Redux, Next.js, SCSS, Tailwind CSS, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency in frontend tools and frameworks such as Webpack, Enzyme with a deep understanding of component-driven development and state management.
- Strong understanding of web standards, browser performance, rendering pipelines, and HTTP fundamentals.
- Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, solve complex problems, and break them into actionable tasks.
- Experience writing clean, testable, and scalable code in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
- A self-starter with an ownership mindset and a passion for creating impactful user experiences.
