Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a leading product-based organization in Bengaluru.
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: CA / CPA (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
✔ Prepare, review, and maintain journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
✔ Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
✔ Ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies
✔ Review expense contracts and determine appropriate accounting treatment
✔ Research and document technical accounting positions and conclusions
✔ Partner with auditors and support financial statement audits
✔ Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and internal control enhancements
✔ Prepare management reports and audit schedules
Required Skills
✅ Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial accounting
✅ Experience with accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations
✅ Experience in public accounting or large public companies preferred
✅ Expertise in Oracle Financials, BlackLine, or similar accounting systems
✅ Advanced Excel skills
✅ Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
⭐ Product-based or Tier-1 company experience only
⭐ Software industry or Shared Services Center experience is a plus
