Role: Senior Finance Manager

Role Overview
We are looking for a Finance Manager to support and manage financial operations across our group entities – Shankar IAS Academy, Phaarmaaone, Medmall, and Student X. The role involves financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
You will work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights that support operational efficiency and business growth.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / ACCA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Experience
- 4 – 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
- Experience in handling financial reporting, budgeting, and financial controls.
- Prior experience in multi-entity organizations or industries such as Education, Healthcare, or Pharma will be an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong skills in Excel, financial analysis, and budgeting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for group entities.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor budgets and track financial performance against targets.
- Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports for multiple business units.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track departmental spending and highlight cost control opportunities.
- Assist senior finance leadership in financial planning and scenario analysis.
Compliance & Financial Controls
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records and transactions.
- Ensure statutory compliance including tax filings and regulatory requirements.
Business Support
- Work closely with operational teams to understand financial requirements.
- Provide financial analysis for new projects, expansions, or business initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring profitability and cost efficiency across business units.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting systems.
- Support implementation or optimisation of ERP and financial tools.
- Assist in automation and digitalisation of financial workflows.
