Key Responsibilities :

Financial Planning & Business Partnering

Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial planning cycles

Partner with business leaders on pricing, margins, cost structures, and investment decisions

Drive profitability analysis across programs, universities, and product lines

Accounting, Compliance & Governance

Ensure timely closure of books, audits, statutory filings, and regulatory compliance

Own GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance

Manage internal controls and audit processes

Financial Controls & Cost Optimization

Implement strong cost governance and approval frameworks

Identify cost optimization opportunities and improve margin performance

Strengthen working capital discipline and cash flow visibility

MIS, Reporting & Dashboards

Build and own MIS, dashboards, and management reports

Track key business KPIs, revenue realization, and collection efficiency

Enable leadership visibility into financial health and performance

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team supporting HigherEd

Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile

812 years of finance experience, preferably in EdTech, education, or services businesses

Strong expertise in accounting, compliance, controls, and business finance

CA / MBA Finance preferred

Hands-on leader with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
